Hearing the call to become a Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion? Training sessions are coming up.
Training for adults will be July 8th and 15th.

CHRIST RENEWS HIS PARISH -- AUGUST RETREAT
Christ Renews His Parish is a process designed to bring members of a parish together in Christ. All of our commitments, including our commitment to Christ, need renewal if we are to be faithful.

JUBILEE YEAR OF THE PRIEST
VATICAN CITY, JUNE 14, 2009 (Zenit.org).- A renewal of the Church is starting this Friday June 19, 2009 -- a renewal to be brought about through the sanctification of priests, according to a Vatican spokesman.
Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi, director of the Vatican press office, affirmed this when he reflected on the Year for Priests, convoked by Benedict XVI, and starting with this Friday's feast of the Sacred Heart.

BRICK PAVER PROJECT UPDATE
To all who have ordered paver bricks in the past year. We would like to apologize for the delay in these bricks being placed in front of the church. Our volunteer who was heading this project was suddenly scheduled to work out of state, which became a permanent position.

RECTORY NEWS
We are breaking ground for the new rectory that will be located on our church property. The building of a new rectory became necessary as the result of a significant rent increase on the current rectory to $2,000.00 per month. In addition, the owner, Forest Hill United Methodist Church, has alternative plans for the use of this building in the near future.
